The Joolz Essentials are made from 100% organic cotton and are full of super-hero powers. They absorb moisture, regulate heat and are just as soft as your baby himself. Perfect for endless cuddling and lullabies.
The Joolz Essentials collection consist of five natural products: a swaddle, cover, sheet, blanket and a nest. The swaddle, fitted sheet and sheet are made from a fine organic jersey which is extremely soft to the skin. All available in an off-white and grey melange colour which perfectly matches the lining of our pushchairs. The Blanket and Nest have an authentic honey comb pattern on the outside and a fine jersey on the inside. Available in five colours: anthracite, blue, pink, mint and off-white.

Together with Marjo van Knippenberg, STRIKKS provided free workshops for, mainly, elderly people. During these workshops we worked on one big design and taught interesting new approaches regarding the knitting technique. We knitted with materials that were maybe a bit unorthodox to work with, but therefor that much more challenging and fulfilling if you look at the result so far! Thanks ladies!
A cinema to relax, let hang, plunge and watch a movie in. If you want. Or else have a look at what co-creation can build. As said before on this site: knitting has some serious super-powers.
The walls, the ceiling and the interior are all knitted in different, but matching, stitches. Done by hand and by machine. Executed in white for the full experience. Let’s hang!
We would like to use the Kuschel-Kino at more than one event in Maastricht and other cities. Behind the scenes we are finishing the design. If you would like to come, hang and admire, please follow us on Facebook, Instagram, check our calendar or subscribe to our newsletter.
Got an event and would you like to use the cinema? We’ll be eagerly waiting for your message!
Let’s (ad)dress the People is an initiative of FASHIONCLASH in collaboration with foundation Tout Maastricht. The project is made possible by Fonds voor Cultuurparticipatie, Gemeente Maastricht, Stichting Tout Maastricht, Coffeelovers and Centre Céramique.

Blanket FOLDED is a blanket in a heavy, woolen quality made for an entire evening of couch surfing or for long summer nights. Besides this, Blanket FOLDED is also a special item for your interior because of the knitted graphic pattern. It is folding paper translated into knitted pleats.
The graphic pattern is your folding instruction. Follow the lines and the result is a diamond-shaped jewel on your bed or sofa. STRIKKS believes that when design and function are combined, daily activities and moments are that more fun.

Le Marais deux is a super inspiring shop for outlet-clothing and several new collections situated in the upcoming part of the city: Jeker Quarter. You can enjoy a cup of award-winning coffee and home-made pastries while shopping for throws, design-items and clothing for both men and women.
This easy-going, but luxurious, cardigan, exclusively made for Le Marais, is knitted in a new structure in a soft kid mohair with the subtle use of a silk thread. With a double collar, double cuffs and more than enough kindness this is a favorite for everyone who needs a simple cardigan for winter times and an easy cardigan/ jacket for outdoors when you’re still a bit chilly.

A co-creation
Take the fashion design skills from Els Petit from Elsewerk and combine that with the textile design skills from STRIKKS. Especially for the inauguration of the new mayor of Maastricht, STRIKKS co-designed and knitted her dress.
The dress is knitted in a fine lace pattern, has a fitted style and pleating at the back. We think she looks stunning in it, don’t you?
This dress is a unique piece, especially made for the mayor and not for sale.

Overstock are those items that don’t get sold once the season has ended. A hang for the new items is, despite efforts like slow-fashion, still the strongest trend among buyers and customers. The definition of a showpiece is that it’s something exhibited or worthy of exhibiting as a fine example of it’s kind.
As designers we require great attention for developing a typical STRIKKS-item that stays with its owner for more than one fashion season. In this showpiece, we collected 5 items that we’re once marketed as single items. By bringing them together and by giving them that special finish plus attention we contributed to their greater value as a unique piece. We like to call it Überstock. The whole is a designed statement of what we stand for as a label and designers. The single items are again designed and sold for private use.
Überstock was exhibited at Fashionclash 2015 & Fashion Maastricht in Chengdu (China) 2015

Okay, that is something we would say when we’re off to work. But seriously, make sure to pick the right combinations in yarn, colour, structures and texture and you’ll create a very personal environment. Knits can be used in so many products. They can be cushions, because there not as stiff as the woven ones. They can be throws, because they’re light but warm.
Have a look at a selection of cushions we’ve designed during the past years for various events and shops. Do you have some great ideas for your own collection or company? Or would you like an exclusive design for you shop? Let us know!
