At STRIKKS everybody is a "knithead"; knitting is our specialty, our profession and our life. Designer Maartje Boer started STRIKKS 15 years ago. Her skills comprise both hand knitting and machine knitting.
With her extended knowledge of knitting she can translate her handmade designs into industrial production. Being capable of knitting any texture, shape and stitch, she is available for bespoke designs and collaborations with design teams. Haute couture knitting, show pieces and interior products.
Being flat knitted fabric, or 3-dimensional clothing. Our knowledge comprises knitting, knitting technology, yarns and sustainability in fashion and textiles.
STRIKKS is your go to specialist for design, sampling and product development. And for consultancy in your process to the production of your ideas.
Maartje is an educator in the field of hand knitting and machine knitting to professionals, students and consumers.
